Dentures

At the Huntsville Denture Clinic we can restore your appearance and function by providing you with a set of natural looking teeth. Our team will help you look and feel refreshed, have you eating the foods you enjoy, and smiling again. During all phases of your denture construction we can also work in cooperation with your dentist. Whether you require Immediate, Standard or Partial dentures keep in mind as this may be your first one or new ones; naturally you will have to adapt and may require an adjustment or two after the day your denture is inserted. As you age, your mouth will continue to change as the bone under your dentures recedes and your gums shrink. It is important to continue having regular checkups with your denturist.

Immediate Dentures - Keep On Smiling

Immediate dentures are designed and fabricated to be placed in your mouth immediately after tooth extractions. This process eliminates being without teeth after extractions for a long period of time. The Immediate denture can act as a bandage and can help reduce swelling of your gums. It can also help prevent certain foods from interfering with the healing process. First step would be to have the Denturist take impressions of your upper and lower arches prior to your extraction date. The Denturist will then process the dentures and will be ready to pick up on your scheduled extraction date. You won’t have to spend even a single day without a natural-looking smile! After your gums have completely healed, a permanent reline is required to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit.

As this may be a good route to take cosmetically it is not the right route for everyone. Naturally, your gums will swell when your get teeth extracted and will need time to heal. Allowing your gums to heal will ensure that the impressions taken will be more accurate and a Standard Denture will be a better fit.

Standard Complete or Partial Dentures - A Great Fit

If you are missing a few teeth or all of them it is important to have partial or complete dentures. With the assistance of dentures, the function of eating and speaking can continue as they would with natural teeth. A Partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, it prevents other teeth from shifting. A partial denture will also help maintain the position of your natural teeth by providing them with additional support. Whether it is a partial or complete denture it takes approximately 4 visits with the Denturist from start to finish. Call us today for a consultation and we will help restore your smile!

Precision Dentures - Right to the Tee-(th)

A personalized precision denture is made to suit each person’s individual look and needs using measurements of your face and jaw. Additional procedures and appointments rather than Standard Dentures are incorporated to provide excellent function, fit, comfort and appearance. A Facebow is used to record the specific jaw movements you make, the shape of your jaw line, lips and eyes. An impression is taken of your gum tissues, then your Denturist is able to recreate the character of your smile and restore the natural contour of your lips and facial muscles. You will have your natural smile in no time! Call us today for a consultation and we will help restore your smile!
